The Wednesday Market

A popular feature of Watton is the Council run Wednesday market which has on average 10 stalls every week selling a wide variety of goods and produce from shoes to wet fish and fruit and veg to clothing.

The market has been held on a Wednesday since 1204 although there is some doubt whether it is a market by tradition or charter.
